Sunsets and Friendliness

We went out to dinner on Saturday night. As soon as we stepped out of the elevator and into the restaurant, we were first blinded, then wowed by the gorgeous sunset glistening across the city buildings. As we took in the view from the tall windows, I couldn’t help but be amazed by the co-existence of our man-built world and the natural beauty of creation. It’s getting to that time of year when we’re not even sure what time the sun sets anymore – the transition between the late summer sunsets and the earlier autumn sunsets. It was a nice surprise to have come in at that perfect moment.

Sunsets aside, one of the best things in this world is good friends. I’m the kind of person that has a few really close friends. I’m definitely not against making new friends once I’ve reached my ‘friend limit’. But I do feel that it’s important to surround yourself with people who will cherish your heart as much as you cherish theirs. I guess it’s like a dating process, just without the romance.

On that long-winded note, I’d like to present you with two of my gorgeous friends: Clare and Kyla.

These girls are just amazing. They have such beautiful hearts and are so much fun, even when we’re just chilling together.

Yeah, way to ruin a photo Haidy! That’s me pulling that stunning face for the camera. I’m obviously the weird one in the group :P
